Hello and thank you for considering me as your tour guide. I am friendly, outgoing, professional and reliable and cannot imagine a line of work that I am better suited to and would enjoy more than working as a tour guide. I grew up in San Francisco's Inner Sunset district, on the edge of Haight Ashbury, and am a second generation native San Franciscan. I am first and foremost a family man, my two children are the third generation of San Franciscan's in my family. I love to travel and have seen many incredible corners of our planet, and yet I always look forward to returning to this amazing city that I call home. As someone who has traveled extensively I have had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality and kindness of many fantastic tour guides so I understand how a professional, quality guide can make a traveler's experience memorable. I take pleasure and pride in creating a truly memorable experience for every single one of my customers. I have worked as a San Francisco-based driver/guide since 2005. I have also worked as an operations and tour guide training manager for a local sightseeing company. Prior to entering the tour industry I had a 16-year career in luxury hotels and the passion for delivering exceptional customer service that I cultivated in the hospitality industry is still with me. My private tours can accommodate groups of up to 13 people and include: San Francisco City tours; Wine tasting tours to Napa, Sonoma, Russian River and beyond; Coast Redwoods (Muir Woods, Armstrong Redwoods, etc. ); Silicon Valley; Brewery and beer tasting tours (I love craft beer); Monterey/Carmel and Highway 1; Historic Gold Country; Hiking tours in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area; anything really. . . I'm always up for a challenge and love putting together unique customized itineraries. While I don't take myself too seriously I do take my responsibility to provide you with an exceptional experience very seriously. . . it would be my pleasure to be your tour guide. - Bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from Golden Gate University - Graduate of the International Tour Management Institute - Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement - Public Utilities Commission class A permit (TCP 37187-A) - City of Sonoma Business License - City of Mill Valley Business License - The National Park Service does not allow tour guides to lead hikes within the parks, detailed commentary will be provided on the way in and out of any national parks (Muir Woods, Yosemite, etc.) - My van can fit a maximum of 13 people.

The beautiful and legendary Pacific Coast Highway will be the backdrop for this scenic coastal tour. As we head south from San Francisco along Highway 1 we will stop at the historic Pigeon Point Lighthouse and the former whaling village of Davenport. We will do a lunch stop along Cannery Row in historic Monterey, where you can visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We will continue through Victorian Pacific Grove on our way to the famous 17 Mile Drive. We can make a stop at Pebble Beach Resort before arriving in the artist colony of Carmel by the Sea. Enjoy some of California's most stunning coastline as you learn all about California's history from a local who has over a decade of experience as a driver & tour guide in the region. I will draw on my 10+ years of experience guiding tours along this beautiful stretch of California's coastline to work with you to create an itinerary that suits your exact interests and preferences.
