Originally from the east coast, but have been a San Francisco local since 2000. I am the owner of a walking tour company, and over the past fourteen years, I have given over 3000 tours to guests from all over the world. I offer six different tours of the neighborhoods of San Francisco. . . The Castro, Mission district, Telegraph Hill, Eureka Valley, Cow Hollow, Pacific Heights, Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill and Golden Gate Park. All of the tours are approximately four miles each, cover various neighborhoods, and have at least one hill and one stairway on them. I take people to hidden stairways and gardens, amazing vistas, and famous landmarks. Along the way, I use my iPad to show relevant historical photos that are arranged in order of the stops on the tour. The tours were all designed as loops, with the start and finish a landmark spot, so guests do not get lost when the tour is finished. It has long been a dream of mine to own a business like I have, and I am extremely knowledgable and passionate about everything that is San Francisco. 7 year member of the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society 3 year member of San Francisco Tour Guide Guild Business is licensed with the City of San Francisco Studied with Improv Olympic in Los Angeles Fully insured Bachelor of Arts from University of Massachusetts at Amherst

What if you wandered through Golden Gate Park's thousand acres and stumbled upon its every secret? From the Haight to Ocean Beach, the Golden Gate Park tour is just that! Golden Gate Park has a lot to offer between its world-class gardens and exhibits, but the goal is to take you along the seldom traveled trails to showcase it's hidden beauty. I'll illustrate how the park was planted, formed, and grown. Sneaking through the park's many ecosystems, we'll spy hundreds of flora and fauna like the great American bison, the spotted owl, and a slimy sweetheart, the banana slug. Looping lakes, open air plazas, and moving memorials speckle our journey through the park to the seaside. The massive Dutch Windmill and rolling sand dunes mark the end of our tour as we reach the Pacific Ocean. Reflect on your thousand-acre adventure and maybe pick a spot on the shore to watch the sunset.
Highlights include: de Young Museum Observation Tower National AIDS Memorial Grove Stow Lake The Bison Paddock The (enormous!) Dutch Windmill Ocean Beach
