Cow Hollow Tour

Get in touch with the panoramic landscapes, chic clubs, and vintage architecture of Cow Hollow. Once the home of the City's dairy farms, Cow Hollow is now the cusp of San Francisco's trendy, upscale culture. We'll visit legendary rock & roll venue, The Matrix Club, where Santana, the Doors, and Jefferson Airplane recorded some of their most legendary sets. I'll share some stories from the 60's & 70's when this psychedelic chateau was in its prime. Down the road, beauty boutiques, top-notch cafés, and artisan storefronts give the Victorian scenery of Union Street a new pulse. We'll visit landmarks like the funky eight-sided Octagon House before ascending to the posh Pacific Heights district. Enjoy the fresh air & waterfront view at Lyon Steps before descending through spiraling gardens & sharp hedges to the Presidio. Here, we can learn about war history (and Star Wars history) near the Lucasfilm Campus. Our last stop is the lagoon at the Palace of Fine Arts, before we end our adventure along Chestnut street.
