With so many places to visit and an extensive subway system, I know New York City can feel overwhelming. There's nothing I love more than helping someone feel at ease and have a great experience exploring the amazing areas of New York. Lower Manhattan is filled with history and surprises around every corner. The beautiful 9-11 Memorial serves as an important reminder of one of America’s darkest days. Chinatown shows how struggling immigrants came to NYC for the chance at a better life. These distinct areas offer a fascinating journey through New York’s ever-changing story. On this walking tour, we will explore the Financial District, 9-11 Memorial and Chinatown. You will learn about earliest Ditch settler and eventual takeover by the British. From the Stock Exchange to Trinity Church, the rich architecture offers that “concrete jungle” feeling that gives New York its nickname. It’s important that everyone visit the 9-11 Memorial while in NYC. I’ll help guests understand why it was built and what went into its thoughtful design. In Chinatown, we will understand how the neighborhoods like this form and have a chance find some delicious snacks to munch on. My tours are very family friendly. Bring on the kids!
