Highlights of the Metropolitan Museum of Art

With over 2 million pieces of art, and collections spanning 5, 000 years, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest museum in the US. As an artist, I have picked the best rooms and collections to see in a two hour tour, to give you a great introduction to the museum's collection. I present art in its historical and cultural context so you can understand the art through the lens of its time. I also make connections between all the galleries we visit, so you can learn about cultural influence around the world. You will receive a deep understanding of each collection's significance, and you will appreciate future visits to the Met and any museum around the world! Please note that the entrance fee is for the entire day! You can stay in the museum after the tour and explore on your own. Please note that the MET is currently closed on Wednesdays.
