My parents sailed by the Statue of Liberty in 1948, seeking as millions before them, a new life filled with possibilities as they fled war ravaged Europe. Since I earned my NYC Tour Guide License in 2006, I have had the privilege to tell their story and that of New York City to countless visitors with real stories such as those my parents and family which includes persons making their living in fashion design, film making, church work, music, Real Estate and medicine. This helps give you an authentic sense of this City and region. This City holds a fascinating history and I will tell you the many stories of the City along with captivating facts and figures. My tours of the City comes alive as I share up close and personal life stories and those of the people; including myself working with firefighters as a their chaplain and at the World Trade Center with victim families and survivors. I have brought guests to almost every nook and cranny in The City in my capacity as a licensed and professional New York City Tour Guide, coordinating corporate groups, school groups, family visits, individual travelers and more. My credentials include: - New York City Tour Guide License. - Washington DC Tour Guide License. - Member of GANYC (Guide Association of New York City) - Post Secondary Degrees in History, Theology and Political Science. - Firefighter Chaplain. - Chauffeur's License. If you wish a comprehensive several day experience in the City and / or along the East Coast, please ask me to design a Custom Tour for you. We can do Washington, Philadelphia, Amish Country, Boston and even that 'natural wonder of the world', Niagara Falls! I guarantee a terrific experience. I live it; you will love it.

From your hotel I will take you via subway to the Battery Park Ferry Terminal to start your fabulous experience; sailing the New York Bay with truly fabulous views of Manhattan and Brooklyn! You will get off the ferry to walk on Liberty Island to stand in the shadow of "Lady Liberty". Then we sail to Ellis Island, also known as "Immigration Island", and see the historic buildings. . . If those walls could talk!!! My own parents sailed past THE STATUE OF LIBERTY into NEW YORK. Their names are recorded in the Ellis Island records of 1948! The stories I share are live first hand accounts of immigration. This is not from some book! We will take a short break for refreshments or an early lunch sitting where the immigrants did! The island has a fascinating store plus I will take you to where you can have the help of an Archivist locate YOUR family records!
This tour has some amazing experiences for adults and children alike: - New York Subway - Battery Park. - Castle Clinton, original Immigrant Center - Sail the New York Bay - Fabulous City pictures! - Statue of Liberty. Walk Liberty Island. - Ellis Island - Boat landing - Historic Immigration Building - Immigrant processing rooms. - Refreshments on Ellis Island - Immigrants Wall
