Let's explore the most iconic sites and vistas of NYC's Downtown with a local! Explore New York City as a true New Yorker does: on foot! Enjoy this unique opportunity to explore NYC with me, a lifelong resident who is eager to share the city's gems with you! Join me on this curated tour as we immerse ourselves through one of the most storied neighborhoods in New York, take in great vistas from a unique vantage point, visit iconic landmarks, relish in local delicacies, and enjoy some of downtown's world-class attractions and influential institutions. Highlights include visiting Chelsea Market; hopping on the High Line's south end; strolling through the streets of Greenwich Village; tracing the landmarks around Wall Street; and visiting the historic 9/11 Memorial, One World Trade Center, and the Oculus. When the tour concludes, you'll walk away feeling like a New Yorker with a deeper appreciation for the city that keeps reinventing itself. I look forward to having you join me on this journey.
• We'll begin our tour at Chelsea Market, the first home of the Oreo cookie factory as well as dozens of unique restaurants and boutiques • After, we'll hop onto the High Line to enjoy gorgeous views of the city including the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center, and the West Side's Little Island, Gansevoort Peninsula and Beach • Then, we'll stroll the charming streets of Greenwich Village filled with storied architecture and establishments, and visit the iconic "Friends" and "Sex and the City" apartment buildings • Some of the world's most influential financial institutions and historic landmarks will frame our walk through Wall Street: Trinity Church, Alexander Hamilton's grave, NY Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, Canyon of Heroes, Fearless Girl, Charging Bull • We'll end the tour at the World Trade Center taking in the reflecting pools at the 9/11 Memorial and enjoying the Oculus—the most beautiful subway station in the world I am happy to adjust the itinerary to best fit your specific interests.
