My parents sailed by the Statue of Liberty in 1948, seeking as millions before them, a new life filled with possibilities as they fled war ravaged Europe. Since I earned my NYC Tour Guide License in 2006, I have had the privilege to tell their story and that of New York City to countless visitors with real stories such as those my parents and family which includes persons making their living in fashion design, film making, church work, music, Real Estate and medicine. This helps give you an authentic sense of this City and region. This City holds a fascinating history and I will tell you the many stories of the City along with captivating facts and figures. My tours of the City comes alive as I share up close and personal life stories and those of the people; including myself working with firefighters as a their chaplain and at the World Trade Center with victim families and survivors. I have brought guests to almost every nook and cranny in The City in my capacity as a licensed and professional New York City Tour Guide, coordinating corporate groups, school groups, family visits, individual travelers and more. My credentials include: - New York City Tour Guide License. - Washington DC Tour Guide License. - Member of GANYC (Guide Association of New York City) - Post Secondary Degrees in History, Theology and Political Science. - Firefighter Chaplain. - Chauffeur's License. Overview of your New York City tour
This fabulous tour in my Black Sienna Mini Van with Sun Roof is the perfect way to see New York City in all kinds of weather! It is never too hot nor too cold in my luxurious vehicle. We leave early from your hotel (8 AM) to catch the first Ferry (avoiding the long lines) sailing to the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island to walk under the magnificent statue; thereafter sail to and Ellis Island (AKA “Immigration Island”) to see this historic site and enjoy a short break for an early lunch all while enjoying views of New York City. The tour continues back in Manhattan as well as Brooklyn with numerous memorable experiences including the opportunity to stroll the Brooklyn Heights Promenade enjoying terrific views of Manhattans’ skyline, a walk in Central Park, see Rockefeller Center, Times Square and at the World Trade Center to stand beside the Memorial Pools. Along the way you will be amazed at the numerous iconic New York City sites as listed in the Itinerary. I promise you a very special experience.
