I will also share my carefully curated selection of historical reference photos at each stop. I intend to change the way you see the NYC skyline, and provide the most personalized experience possible. I will meet you near Bryant Park, and set off on a stroll that explores the best of Midtown architecture and landmarks. We will see buildings of international fame, and many lesser-known buildings as well. As you go, you'll also learn the stories behind the sites and their construction, and how they transformed New York. See the details of Art Deco skyscraper masterpieces, and countless photo opportunities. A great tour for those who want to get the most out of their time in midtown.
Your New York City tour itinerary
This tour will start by Bryant Park, as we begin our architectural journey. Buildings we will discuss during the tour include: -Empire State Building -Bryant Park Hotel -New York Public Library -500 5th Avenue -Chanin Building -Chrysler Building -Grand Central Terminal -Fred F. French Building -Rockefeller Center -And more! This walk will include visits to a couple of my favorite lobbies in Midtown. We will also explore the details of landmarking in NYC, with a curated selection of historical reference photos. We will discuss how preservation and progress collide in this section of Midtown. This will include a detailed stop at Grand Central and see its magnificent interiors! Your tour will end at Rockefeller Center, near the heart of Midtown!
