English countryside drive to explore mystical Stonehenge and the charming Cathedral City of Salisbury
Overview of your Southampton tour
Journey up through the beautiful southern english countryside to visit the magical and mysterious Stonehenge high up on Salisbury Plain. Walk around the stones with your guide where you'll learn about some of it's secrets and then visit the Interpretation centre and museum. A short drive from Stonehenge brings you to the very pretty, charming and quintessentially English Cathedral City of Salisbury. Enter the 800 year old Cathedral with its famous spire and one of the worlds oldest clocks. Visit the chapter house to see the famous Magna Carta. Then spend some time wandering the medieval streets and perhaps have lunch at one of the gorgeous pubs or Coaching Inns. Drive back to historic walled city of Southampton and rejoin your ship
