Winchester is rated as one of the nicest towns in the UK due to its picturesque views, and its very historical city centre. It is also the ancient capital of England and the place were the famous Anglo Saxon king Alfred the Great is buried - in fact during this tour we will take you to his final resting place! Winchester will charm you with its beautiful Gothic Cathedral, the rivers meadows, its busy high street which often features markets, and all the lovely shops and places to eat. Moreover, Winchester is also home of another legend: the famous table of king Arthur (also featuring on our tour!).
