I will meet you on arrival at Southampton Cruise Terminal or at your Southampton hotel and we will travel in the comfort of a spacious air-conditioned vehicle. I will drive you to the historic city of Winchester, previously the capital of England. Winchester has been associated with royalty as far back as the famous Danish king Canute (ruled 1016-35), and several early kings, including Alfred the Great. My tour is an excellent way to become acquainted with the city as we head to the incredible Winchester Cathedral and visit the fascinating Great Hall, a seat of many English Kings and Queen, and home to the legendary Round Table of King Arthur. After the walking tour I will give you some free time to explore Winchester independently for shopping or lunch. I will then drive you back to your Southampton cruise in plenty of time for your departure.
