I specialise in taking you on stunning walks and short hikes in our spectacular places. I work full time as a guide, so provided you are quick enough, you should find lots of availability. The Causeway Coast and Glens is one of the most beautiful corners in Ireland - up in the very north east. My tours specialise in truly experiencing the best of the stunning landscapes by (largely) dodging the popular attractions in favour of spending quality time out in the landscape. . . we still visit the top spots but in a much more unique and memorable way. Whether it is hiking along the stunning Causeway cliffs for 5 miles (8K) to reach the Causeway stones or visiting a truly hidden gem for walking at Murlough and Fair Head, I pride myself in delivering authentic tours IN the landscape, not just driving past for some photographs. I've been a guide since 2013 and I absolutely LOVE showing this beautiful place, that I get to call home, to visitors from around the world. Overview of your Belfast tour
Do something a little different from the norm! Visit the Giant's Causeway but take in the amazing coastline by hiking the 5 miles (8k) of wonderful cliff paths that lead to the stones. I specialise in taking you on stunning walks and short hikes in Northern Ireland's spectacular landscapes. Heading direct to the Causeway coast, we get to the trail head very early on, we park at Dunseverick Castle ruin far away from the crowds and take a breathtaking cliff walk arriving at the Causeway stones the opposite direction from the crowds. Our walk and stones visit lasts around 3. 5 hours including taking some time to enjoy a packed lunch. After the hike, enjoy a Guinness in the Nook pub or spend time in the visitor centre while I take a short taxi ride to pick up our vehicle before collecting you. We will then head back to Belfast for a short city highlights tour.

We had an amazing tour with Eimear. She was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and great with my kids. She was also wonderful with making suggestions for ways to alter things for my mother who isn't able to hike quite as much as the rest of us but didn't want to miss a thing. This tour was one of our absolute favorites of our trip and I would HIGHLY recommend it. We all loved it!
The hike up the cliff was really wonderful. Eimear gave us a good explanation of the formation and geology of the Giant Causeway. She also told the story of Belfast full of emotions.
Your Belfast tour itinerary
Depart port within 30 minutes of disembarkation. Comfort break and pick up packed lunch - Arrive at trail head on Causeway Coast - Hike 5 beautiful cliff miles with stops for photos, commentaries and picnic lunch - Visit the Causeway stones - Have a pint in a lovely Irish pub - Return to Belfast for a short city highlights tour. I drop you back to the ship with at least one hour before your departure. Late afternoon alternative options can include, a visit to Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge or view point, or take a longer detour back to Belfast to enjoy an Irish coffee in Ireland's oldest thatched pub which opened in 1654! (Please note it is possible to cross the rope bridge and do the cliff hike but timing is crucial). Rope bridge tickets need booked for a specific time. If crossing the bridge is essential for you, please discuss this option as a custom tour and I can then include bridge tickets and pre-purchase them for you.
