We really appreciated the places he selected—they felt thoughtful and gave us a great sense of the area. He was also flexible and adapted the plan easily when the weather didn’t cooperate, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In October, Thomas took us on a most memorable Northern Ireland tour of The Giants Causeway, The Dark Hedges, and the Deluce Castle. The scenery was spectacular and Thomas snapped photos of us along the way. He was a knowledgable, thorough, and entertaining guide. Our family of 4 (including two 20-somethings and two 60 year-olds) had a marvellous time the entire day. In Dublin Thomas showed us a political mural in which he is featured when a child and gave us real insight into the conflict. The background of the guides through Tours by Locals is invaluable and we all highly recommend Thomas for your Northern Ireland tour.

Thomas did a great job of touring Belfast. We started with a tour of inner Belfast and Thomas did a great job of describing some of the struggles over the last 40 years and talked about how the strife has been put to rest. We then toured the country side and saw some of the historic sites including some of the sites where Game of Thrones was filmed.
