Thomas provided my wife and myself an exceptional private tour of the northern coast to the west of Belfast. We visited the Giants Causeway, several Game of Thrones filming locations including the eerie Dark Hedges (Kings Road), and Ballintoy Harbor, Iron Islands among others. He also led us on a short walk to a hidden and isolated waterfall. Lunch was an excellent seafood meal at the Fullerton Arms pub. Thomas asked us what we wanted to see and always gave us the option of skipping attractions. There was so much to see! Before the day of the tour Thomas was in frequent contact with me to identify our preferences, answer questions, and provide recommendations on Belfast hotels and restaurants. His recommendation to stay at the Fitzwilliams Hotel was spot on. I cannot overstate what an excellent guide Michael is or how glad we were to take his tour.

We had a wonderful experience with the County Antrim Giant's Causeway and Game of Thrones location tour. Our guide, Thomas, was prompt, enthusiastic, and brought great energy to the entire tour. We really appreciated the places he selected—they felt thoughtful and gave us a great sense of the area. He was also flexible and adapted the plan easily when the weather didn’t cooperate, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He also arranged lunch at a spot that was absolutely delicious, which we really appreciated. Overall, a fantastic tour that we would highly recommend.

In October, Thomas took us on a most memorable Northern Ireland tour of The Giants Causeway, The Dark Hedges, and the Deluce Castle. The scenery was spectacular and Thomas snapped photos of us along the way. He was a knowledgable, thorough, and entertaining guide. Our family of 4 (including two 20-somethings and two 60 year-olds) had a marvellous time the entire day. In Dublin Thomas showed us a political mural in which he is featured when a child and gave us real insight into the conflict. The background of the guides through Tours by Locals is invaluable and we all highly recommend Thomas for your Northern Ireland tour.
