Hi folks! My name is David. I'm 54 years old. I'm a father of 3 children 2 boys and a girl. I have lived in the City of Belfast all my life. I'm a (World host Tourism NI) accredited tour guide for over 14years. I grew up in Belfast during the conflict otherwise known as (the troubles) and have seen my city transform into one of the nicest, friendliest and modern cities in the world. I have worked in Belfast as a cab driver since 1999 and then became a tour guide in 2007. In this time I have given private guided tours to hundreds of tourists from all over the world. When I'm not working as a tour guide I work for the Education Authority for Northern Ireland , driving children with neurodiverse problems. My previous jobs I have worked within Northern Ireland's film & television industry driving film and tv stars including the cast from the hit HBO series GAME OF THRONES. I'm a huge fan of the show. I drive a luxury fully air conditioned Mercedes MPV capable of carrying 7 guests. But I can cater for smaller or larger numbers of guests upon request. I'm very proud of my city and my country of Northern Ireland. I love to show off our beautiful countryside and it's wonderful cultures. David was highly knowledgeable and very personable. He shared lots of history and great stories about Northern Ireland. Was very flexible in reorganizing the tour given that Belfast was in crisis and really went out of his way to ensure that we had a good day. However, don’t let him take you to Carrick-A-Rede Bar for lunch. We ordered and left an hour later without receiving our food…it was a disaster.

Thanks to David for this amazing tour while we visited Belfast. Whether you choose to accept the scientific explanation for the origin of the Giant's Causeway (volcanoes + erosion) or prefer the more legendary story of the giants, Finn McCool and Benandonner, the result is a site to be experienced. This was our first goal and well worth the trip. As we worked back toward Belfast we had the opportunity to see the remains of the Dunseverick and Dunluce Castles along the coast. As remarkable in their own way as the castles was the beautiful sand beaches that were the backdrop for these sites. After an exceptional pub lunch, we visited the Dark Hedges on our way back to Belfast for our scheduled visit to Titanic Belfast. I wish I could share more about these incredible sites, but take the tour and see for yourself. David will take great care of you and you will experience Ireland.

When the tour is finished I will return you to your accommodation or cruise ship Terminal 45-60mins prior to departure. This truly is a fantastic day out but don't take my word for it check out my reviews.
