Belfast highlights and Political history tour

I take you on a guided tour of my historically diverse city of Belfast. I am a highly experienced guide who has lived through political conflict in my city of Belfast since 1972. This tour is an insight into one of the world's worst religious & Political conflicts otherwise known as the Northern Ireland's "TROUBLES" I will escort you through both republican and loyalist areas giving you a non-biased account of the Conflict and present day life since the signing of the peace deal known as the Good Friday agreement . You will have an opportunity to see up close the many different wall murals in both the Catholic republican and Protestant loyalist neighbourhoods these murals tell a story of Hatred and sacrifice but also are a present day memorial to loved ones families and comrades who lost their lives during this very brutal and bitter conflict. As part of this tour I drive you through the streets of Belfast seeing how this city has now transformed into a bustling peaceful city

Pickup time is flexible from your Belfast accommodation or cruise ship terminal. We drive into west belfast to explore the various political street art (Political murals) You will be given a political history commentary as you drive through both protestant loyalist and Catholic republican neighbourhoods. A visit to the world famous Belfast peacewall The tour includes the following locations • Falls Road Republican murals • Shankill Road loyalist murals • The Belfast peace-wall • The Belfast peace-wall gates • Belfast City Hall • Queens University • The Albert Clock • St Anne's Cathedral • Parliament Buildings • Queens Quarter • Titanic Quarter • Cathedral Quarter • Titanic Belfast • Belfast Castle You will also have an opportunity to visit one of Belfast's oldest pubs for pint of Guinness or an Irish coffee if that's your thing ! At the end of the tour I will return you to your accommodation or if you're on a cruise ship you'll be back at the ship at least 45-60 mins prior to departure.
