Belfast highlights and Political history tour

Great tour with David. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all subjects Belfast!

We had an excellent tour of Belfast with David. He gave us an insightful look into the city’s political history, explaining the background of the Troubles in a clear and engaging way. Seeing the murals and the dividing wall with his context made the experience far more meaningful than we could have managed on our own. In addition to the political sites, David also showed us other historical landmarks around the city, giving us a well-rounded sense of Belfast’s past and present. His vehicle was clean, comfortable, and perfectly accommodated our group—including Mike’s walker—making the day easy and enjoyable for everyone. We truly appreciated David’s knowledge, professionalism, and thoughtful guiding. We would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Belfast who wants to understand the city’s rich and complex history.

This tour was one of the best we have ever had. Our guide, David, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of “The Troubles” as well as current events in Belfast. He presented everything in an unbiased way and was able to take us through narrow streets to see murals and protective neighborhood walls that you would never be able to see in a tour bus. He is also a really nice person and took great care helping my husband who has mobility issues. Thank you David!

David has a great sense of humor, a firsthand experience with the changes in Belfast over the last several decades and a hopeful passion for his hometown. He gladly customized our tour after I mentioned some things I wanted to see and do. My family was exhausted after traveling overnight to get to Belfast, but we wanted to stay awake at least until dark. David met us at the airport and made our wishes possible in such a very interesting way. My expectations were greatly exceeded!

What a beautiful city with a sadly troubled past. Got to see quite a lot and better understanding of the history and ongoing difficulties on this region. Very insightful and would recommend taking this tour.
