Discover Ephesus in a day which is one of the biggest and best well-kept ancient cities in the world. I can meet you at Kusadasi harbour or where ever you want, from airport as well. We will drive to Ephesus just 15 miles from Kusadasi, visit the most important and beautiful monumental buildings in Ephesus ( Odeon, Temples, Celcius Library, Amphitheatre, etc. ). After Ephesus Ancient City, we will visit House of Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis, Terrace Houses. ALL IN A DAY. . . . EPHESUS- One of the largest and best well-kept ancient cities in the world. TEMPLE of ARTEMIS- One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World HOUSE of VIRGIN MARY- a shrine where Blessed Mary spent her recently years and died. TERRACE HOUSES- were the houses for rich people, famed with mosaics and frescos. ( Not recommended for disable people ) SAINT JOHN CHURCH ( Expression from Temple of Artemis ) - The church where Apostle John was burried NOTE : I DO NOT GIVE TOURS FROM IZMIR
Boz was OUTSTANDING! His knowledge of the area was second to none! He was extremely accommodating and designed the tour around us, giving us lots of options throughout the day! We got to see more than we expected and he made us feel like his special guests! I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide in this area!
Our tour with Boz was amazing! Our customized tour included a multi-generational rug weaving center where we learned how silk is made, watched a rug-making demonstration, and had the opportunity to walk barefoot across a variety of beautiful handmade rugs. Visited the House of the Virgin Mary which many historians and religious scholars believe this to be the place where Mary spent her final years. Traveled to Ephesus to explore the amazing ruins. Enjoyed a delicious traditional Turkish meal. Visited a pottery workshop, where we watched a potter demonstrate his craft and looked at all their beautiful pottery. Saw the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The final stops were a leather store with so many beautiful handcrafted items and then to a shop filled with Turkish Delight and other local specialties. It was an amazing day, and I highly recommend Tours By Locals. Boz was fantastic. He took us to all the places we wanted to see while allowing plenty of time to explore and enjoy each stop at our own pace.
Boz was an exceptional guide. He is so passionate about Kusadasi and so keen for his tour groups to experience as much of its history, culture and way of life as possible. He was funny and entertaining and patient enough to go at the pace of our slowest group member. We learnt so much about Ephesus and had a fabulous day. Boz arranged for us to visit a Turkish carpet factory where we watched the meticulous and time-consuming manufacture by hand of Turkish carpets by some staff. He also took us to a ceramics manufacturer where we watched a decanter being made and another being painted. Their showroom contained beautiful pieces. And our trip to the leather manufacturers was a lot of fun as we were treated to a runway show. I could not rate Boz more highly and would recommend him to anyone wanting to tour Ancient Ephesus and Kusadasi.
We had an amazing day in Ephesus because of Boz! We learned so much, visited all the places we requested plus more. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. He understands the need of some free time and took us to a special place for lunch away from crowds. Highly recommend him!
Boz was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed touring with Boz and he did a marvelous job avoiding crowds. We felt that we saw everything we wanted to see, no pressure in the pottery artisan's shop and no pressure at the Turkish carpet manufacturer. Great lunch at the carpet factory.
Boz was so amazing, I WILL take his name and contact details back home with me to share with my friends! We started with the Typical Tourist Attraction of Ancient Ephesus. He pointed out SO much that we would have missed in our own or even with a guide from our cruise company. (We talked with others over dinner on the cruise.... Theirs was good. BOZ was better!) He then personalized the rest of the day just for us!!!! Please consider him (and the cost) if you are on a big cruise ship!!!! Amazing Day! (And his English is easily understood!)

Ephesus Ancient City is far to Kusadasi Port around 15 miles. That's why we will need a van which I will arrange for you according to the size of your group. It will be an air-conditioned van with a driver. I can arrange a bigger vehicle if you are more than 10 people.
