Hi! I'm Neslihan, and Istanbul has been my classroom for nearly 20 years. I've been a licensed professional guide since 2008 — and I still discover something new every time I'm out with a guest. My background is a little unusual: I studied tour guiding, business, media communications, and history — two degrees, two diplomas. Then I pursued a master's degree at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU) in Switzerland, which gave me a very different perspective. I learned how Western visitors think, what surprises them, and what they actually want to understand about a city like Istanbul. I also spent time in Argentina learning Spanish, which taught me that the best way to connect with people is through stories, not facts. When you're on tour with me, I won't recite dates and names. I'll tell you what was really going on behind the palace walls, why the city looks the way it does, and what the monuments meant to the people who built them. History doesn't have to feel like a lesson — it just needs the right storyteller. I'd love to show you my city. Let's make it a day you actually remember.

This is one of my favorite tour. I studied History of Art and I love it. We will talk about history today. But it won't be boring like history lesson. I will tell you interesting stories, mysteries. . You will find yourself in the story. Our first visit is Blue Mosque and we will visit Topkapi Palace after that. Topkapi Palace is the biggest Ottoman Palace and used as a royal palace around 400 years. Of course we will talk about Harem girls too. I will explain their life in the palace. We will also visit Hagia Sophia which is the symbol of the city. It is also symbolizing peace of three religions. You will love byzantine art in it. We will rest a bit in a historical cafe near Hagia Sophia to drink turkish coffee. If you like I can look your fortune with the cup. In the afternoon we will visit the water cistern. A beautiful light show is waiting for us! End of the tour we will see Grand Bazaar which will impress you with its 4000 stores!
If you let me know your interests, we can create a different plan. It is a flexible tour plan. We can do a customized tour. -Departure from the Hotel or Port. -Roman Hippodrome (We will start our tour here. After the explanations of the ruins we will have a quick stop for taking photos). -Blue Mosque (There are some rules for entering the mosque. Women need to cover their heads and everybody needs to take off their shoes. We will have time for taking photos). -Topkapi Palace. (It is close on Tuesday) -Underground Cistern (We will have a short visit to this attraction). Underground Cistern is under restoration but we will see Binbirdirek Cistern. -Grand Bazaar (If you like handicrafts you will love the Bazar. But you should know it is closed on Sunday). -Back to the Hotel or Port.
