Kahraman was an excellent guide! It was easy to setup a meeting location that worked for our group of 8. Kahraman was fluent in English and had a vast knowledge of the various sites we toured in Istanbul. We started with Hagia Sophia, then the Blue Mosque, the German Fountain, Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar. Kahraman also took us to a local Kebab restaurant that was exceptional, had shaded outdoor seating, and was also one of the less expensive places to eat. We had an aggressive plan for 6 hours and Kahraman kept us on track with the priorities we setup before the tour. I highly recommend Tours by Locals with Kahraman in Istanbul!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day tour with Kahraman. After hitting some traditional Istanbul highlights the first day, Kahraman recognized that we might enjoy a more off-the-beaten path trip and day 2 was a wonderful mix of wandering neighborhoods. We enjoyed every aspect of our tour. And Kahraman could not be more lovely. We were thrilled and any future trips to Istanbul will be spent with some time with Kahraman.
I can't say enough good things about Kahramen and our multi day tour of Istanbul. He really listened to our priorities and exceeded our expectations! He grew up in Istanbul, and carries with him a knowledge that goes deeper than the average tour guide. Our entire group had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a one-night layover in Istanbul, and hoped to see a bit of the city by taking an evening walking tour. Khamaran was so nice and so informative. Unbelievably, thanks to him, I saw a great deal of Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the amazing water cisterns. I am so appreciative of this wonderful tour, and hope to return to see more of Istanbul with Khamaran.
