Magnificent Istanbul - Two Continents in One Day

Ali is the best! He is knowledgeable, professional, and fun to be with. We had a great time with Ali. We did a van and walking tour of the Istanbul neighborhoods, which was excellent. His knowledge of history of the area was remarkable. He recommended a neighborhood restaurant for our lunch, and it was wonderful. He was the best guide we had in our two weeks of travel. He books up fast, which I found out the hard way since I wanted to book Ali for two days, but he was only available for one day.

Our day with Ali Bey was wonderful. He was not only very informative but also patient with our family of 11 (three generations!) We felt like we made a new friend as we discussed about both history and current day politics of Turkiye.

Ali was such a great tour guide! He's so knowledgeable and informative. With so much history in Istanbul, I felt he covered a lot of ground. Ali was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and patient. He took his time to explain the history and significance of every sight we visited. We were a group of 6, with 2 little kids and he was very accommodating and understanding, and helped us prioritize which sights to visit throughout the day. If in Turkey, Istanbul is an absolute must see, and if in Istanbul and considering a tour guide, Ali is the tour guide you would want. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and learned a lot thanks to Ali.
