As Civil Engineer, I worked in the big projects as site engineer and site manager in istanbul including Kadıköy Kartal Metro Project, Northern Marmara Motorway Project ( 3. Bosphour Bridge) and Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Project. also Serving in army as Platoon Commander definitely helped me to improve my leadership qualification. I have been to Poland, Ukraine, Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Morroco and all over Turkey. Beside my engineering skills, I have been always interested in history, army, culture, religion, anthropology, races , biography of world Leaders and food. Especially history of the Ottoman and Roman empire provide me to know my own city more. Since I managed to link these interests with my prevailing area Old city istanbul completely changed my carrier and thus I am front of You as Professional Tourist Guide. We are also going to use my locality background to have our local food. I know where to eat and not to waste our money. I am a also gourmet. I recommend you what I eat. We enjoyed our tour; our favorite part was visiting the Cisterns. Our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic, and we appreciated all of his insights and shared history. Overall we would give our tour a 9/10.
Mehmet met my son and I promptly in our hotel lobby on our first morning in Istanbul. We had an idea of what and what we did not want to include on our walking tour and Mehmet was most accommodating. Our first stop after crossing the bustling Galata Bridge was the Spice Market, a beautiful 360 year old building, followed by the Topkapi Palace, a quick stop for a cup of delicious Turkish tea, then the Basilica Cistern (an amazing edifice) and we rounded off our morning at the Bazaar. After a spot of retail therapy, Mehmet took us to a local cafe where the staff produced a wonderful tasty lunch of delicious lamb, chicken, beef, rice, bread and salad. It was then off to the famous Blue Mosque, followed by the Hippodrome. After many miles of walking Mehmet took us back to our hotel on the tram and helped us navigate the Istanbulkart so that we could use the public transport system for the rest of our stay. Mehmet was extremely polite and has a caring personality towards his clients ensuring that everything is catered for. He is knowledgeable about the history of the various incredible buildings and was patient with us wanting to stop frequently to chat to Istanbul's "friendly felines"! He also recommended one of the oldest hamman baths in Instanbul (Cemberlitas) and kindly booked this for us for the following day. Thank you Mehmet! You were brilliant!
Mehmet was very friendly and a great guide, unfortunately we did not have time to visit Topkapi palace due to time constraints.

Very knowledgeable guide. He took us around many different places and was able to accommodate us. He gave us insights that our friends who had been in Istanbul before did not know. He spoke very good English and got us around the big lines. Highly recommend it

If not, i can organize Ac Vehicle for pick up and drop off. We will need to walk between the sites ( Hagia Sophia - Blue Mosque - hippodrome - Topkapi Palace) we may use the vehicle to reach grand bazaar (depends on traffic)
