Highlights of Istanbul by A Private Full-Day Shore Excursion.

Good tour and the guide was very good, great day….

Umit is a fabulous tour guide and very knowledgeable about Istanbul history and all of the things that make the city truly special. Our cruise ship was delayed in its arrival to Istanbul and then extended its stay through the evening. Umit was very responsive, understanding and flexible—instead of meeting at the scheduled 8:30 am, he waited for us for six hours until 2:30 pm and readjusted the whole itinerary so that we could still visit the major sites, have pastries, go shopping, etc. With the change in plans and extended stay in port until midnight, Umit was even able to arrange (in a matter of minutes from the tram) a private evening Bosphorus boat tour and dinner as a surprise to my wife and kids—they were ecstatic when he started to tell us the history of the Asia side while standing at Galataport and a boat pulled up and invited us onboard. We highly recommend Umit!

We were met as scheduled at our cruise port. Umit Ozipek tailored our tour to our 9 member family - from age 3 to 73. We were driven in a comfortable van and shown all of the attractions. We ate lunch at one of his favorite restaurants. Of special note - Be sure to wear long pants for both men and women - head coverings for women. This is the way to go for family groups.

Umit was totally Awesome! Extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor, he made our walking tour of the city fun while still diving deep into the rich history and culture of the city. Ready and able to answer any question we had, he made the tour both exciting and forever memorable. Istanbul is so large it can easily be overwhelming, but with Umit, we always felt comfortable, entertained, and were always learning something new about this stunning city - he's the best!

Umit did a great job showing us all the main sights in Istanbul. His flexibility helped tailor our day for the sights we were most interested in. He was very knowledgeable and we would definitely recommend him to others!! All in all, what a great day in Istanbul, an amazing city!!

We had a great time on this tour. Umit was very flexible and at the same time arranged the tour of the sites in a manner that allowed us to avoid the long lines. We saw all of the must-see sights in Istanbul old town and were provided with the historical information on each site. I highly recommend Umit and his tour of Istanbul.
