Half Day Istanbul - Shore Excursion

Cicek is an exceptional guide. Her communication with our group ahead of the tour was very clear. We developed a two-day itinerary with her to address a diverse range of interests in our group. Our days were comfortably packed. At the sites, Cicek’s knowledge and stories literally brought the places to life. She is a talented teacher; in addition, our days with her were absolutely entertaining. Her professionalism is evident.

We had a great tour with Cicek in Istanbul. She shared her local knowledge and history of the city with us, explaining the many events over the decades that changed Istanbul as it grew to the city it is today. She had great local contacts in the spice market and artists of hand made goods. I would recommend her for your tours in Istanbul!

We were traveling with our 15-year old granddaughter. Cecil went above and beyond to ensure that our granddaughter understood and enjoyed all the important sites in the Old Town of Istanbol. But the best was when Cicek took her to a family owned carpet store. The owner showed Emma how they spin silk and weave carpets. Then it was off to the Grand Bazaar . Our second day, Cicek took us to the Spice Market, oldest Chocolate Store and more. We had a wonderful time with Cicek. She was delightful to be with.
