Hi! I'm Neslihan, and Istanbul has been my classroom for nearly 20 years. I've been a licensed professional guide since 2008 — and I still discover something new every time I'm out with a guest. My background is a little unusual: I studied tour guiding, business, media communications, and history — two degrees, two diplomas. Then I pursued a master's degree at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU) in Switzerland, which gave me a very different perspective. I learned how Western visitors think, what surprises them, and what they actually want to understand about a city like Istanbul. I also spent time in Argentina learning Spanish, which taught me that the best way to connect with people is through stories, not facts. When you're on tour with me, I won't recite dates and names. I'll tell you what was really going on behind the palace walls, why the city looks the way it does, and what the monuments meant to the people who built them. History doesn't have to feel like a lesson — it just needs the right storyteller. I'd love to show you my city. Let's make it a day you actually remember.

Turkey is famous with Handycrafts. It is big part of the culture. Tuskish people are experts of making tiles, caligrafy, carpets and rugs. All these arts have stories. To listen the stories come with me. We will get lost in Grand Bazaar first. It is the biggest also oldest bazaar in the world. You can find anything in Grand Bazaar. Leather, colorful lamps, old books, antics. We will also stop for rugs and for listening their history from an expert. We will learn meaning of symbols on them. We will have a stop for coffee in a traditional cafe. People are resting, drinking coffeee or smoking waterpipe. I will look your fortune from your coffee cup if you like. After coffee we will stop for old book market. You will see the Caligrapy Art in there. If you like we can also join a workshop for water marbling or creamic. We will also have a chance to taste best doner and turkish delight in Spice Market. Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize tour!

Turkish people still use it when they want to relax). -Coffee reading (There is a tradition in Turkey: We look the fortune after we drink Turkish coffee. If you like to know your future I can read your coffee). -Caravanserai (There are many caravanserais around the bazaar. We will also visit some of them). -Spice Market (We will taste Turkish delights and delicious nuts in the bazaar. You will take the most colorful photos of Istanbul in this bazaar). -Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize this tour!
