Different Colors of the Golden Horn (From Fener to Eyup, Half-Day Tour)

I highly recommend this tour and Yasin as a taste of the Golden Horn. Yasin is affable, personable, and knowledgeable. He loves his country and is also well-traveled; he brings a great depth of knowledge into his tour. Taking a tour of the Golden Horn is a fantastic introduction to Istanbul. Much of it is less traveled by tourists and not so crowded. For our tour, Yasin asked what we were interested in so he could further customize our tour, and we saw a mix of neighborhoods, including many houses of worship, which he was well-versed in. We were on a Turkish Airlines layover, and after this tour, we are planning a return trip dedicated to Turkey. Thank you, Yasin!

Great tour with a very personable guide.

How do I rate this as 10 out of 5 stars?!? Our trip was enhanced so much by the chance to see this part of Istanbul, and it should be a "required booking" for anyone spending more than one day in the city. Yasin is absolutely wonderful... we loved spending time on this tour and we learned so much! Of particular note, Yasin was incredibly diligent in communicating with us before the tour -- how to prepare, detailed guide on meeting point, and even scrambling around to meet us when our taxi was unable to drop us off in the correct place.

Wonderful, fun, interesting day exploring Fener and Balat. Yasin is a pleasure to spend a day with. Highly recommend.

After working with Yasin for 1 1/2 days of touring the most important (at least to us) highlights of IST, we took this very interesting half-day "off-the-beaten-path" tour with Yasin. It was a delightful tour with him and a nice ending to our 6 days in Istanbul. As before, we highly recommend Yasin. And, as with our three other IST tours, we engaged an hourly taxi (Euro 25/hour, 2023) from our hotel, instructed by Yasin on where to go; it was a wise investment.

Yasin was a great guide and the Different Colors of the Golden Horn tour was terrific. The neighborhoods explored are those not covered on the typical tours. Yasin showed us some sites and streets we would not have found by ourselves. A highlight was his willingness to pop in and out of all of the local restaurants and food stores so that we could try as many local foods as possible - some of which we never found again during the rest of our time in Turkey.
