Hello everyone, my name is Julia, and I would love to introduce you to the Switzerland I know and love. Switzerland for me is not just a travel destination — it is my everyday life. I live and work in the very heart of Zürich, surrounded by the rhythms, traditions, and quiet beauty of Swiss life, and create tailor-made journeys across Switzerland, offering private tours in Zürich, Lucerne, and Bern. My partner’s family comes from Bern and Zürich, and through these close local connections I have become deeply immersed in Swiss culture and community. My story began with music and theatre: I studied cello at a specialized music school and later graduated from the acting department of the Kyiv Theatre Institute, after which I worked in theatre. This background shaped the way I guide. I spent over ten years living and working in Venice. I started out in a travel agency, which gave me a deep understanding of how trips are organized, and later obtained my official guide license. I led tours in Venice and the Prosecco wine region, combining historical sites with fascinating stories. Now in Switzerland, I continue doing what I love and offer only the experiences that I genuinely enjoy myself. I’ll show you the beauty of Switzerland and its hidden gems. Let’s create your perfect journey together! I have all the requirements of the Swiss government to fulfil professionally my work. I am certificated travel guide of Venice and I have a guide license in the city of Chernihiv, Ukraine. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate professional car&driver. Please contact me even if I am unavailable! Switzerland with Julia.

We’ll start our adventure around 8:00 AM in the heart of Lucerne. From there, we’ll head straight to one of the region’s most iconic landmarks—Mount Pilatus, known for its dramatic presence in the Swiss Alps. To reach the summit, we’ll ride the world’s steepest cogwheel railway, climbing to the top in just 30 minutes. Once at the peak, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over Lucerne and the surrounding alpine landscape. There will be plenty of time to take in the scenery and capture stunning photos. Next, we’ll descend by cable car back toward Lucerne, where we’ll board a boat for a scenic cruise across beautiful Lake Lucerne. This relaxing ride sets the stage for the second part of our journey—an ascent to Mount Rigi, known as the “Queen of the Mountains.” We’ll ride Europe’s oldest cogwheel railway to the summit. Though not as high as Pilatus, Mount Rigi offers equally stunning vistas and a charming alpine atmosphere. After soaking in the views, we’ll return to Lucerne by boat.
If you’re visiting Switzerland, Lucerne is an absolute must-see. While many travelers choose to visit either Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi, this special tour lets you experience both in one unforgettable day. Get ready for a full day of discovery featuring some of Switzerland’s most iconic modes of transport, awe-inspiring alpine views, and unforgettable moments. This will surely be a highlight of your Swiss adventure! *Fondue Tasting on Mount Rigi During our visit to Mount Rigi, we’ll make a special stop for a traditional fondue tasting with a local cheesemaker. He produces an impressive 12,000 kilograms of cheese each year, using milk from his very own cows. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy authentic Swiss flavors in a breathtaking alpine setting.
