This 2. 5-hour tour reveals some of Zürich's history as well as stories of chocolate and cheese. We visit some chocolate shops, a local cheese shop and see some of the city's highlights. There will be a few Swiss delights along the way which adds some tasty fun. Our walk will take place in the city center with a focus on the old town. It will also include 3 to 4 stops at various locations to try some bites. A visit to Switzerland is not complete until you have tasted some cheese and chocolate. This is not a culinary tour but another way to discover the city.
Cynthia is so knowledgeable and friendly. She is an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her!
Highly recommend this walking and chocolate/cheese tasting tour. Cynthia was knowledgeable, flexible to our needs and enjoyable company. She took us to a local cheese shop with interesting (yummy) samples and a variety of chocolate shops with history of the city as we walked.
Terrific tour with great highlights! Very friendly and a great sense of humor. Would certainly recommend
We had a nice tour with Cynthia. It was a good mix of learning about chocolate, cheese, and history of the city. Cynthia was friendly and made sure we were comfortable with all the walking. It was nice to have a local to show us around. We were also able to taste a lot more things than we would have on our own!
Probably one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Super communicative before the trip-she was not listed as available due to it being a holiday and she wouldn't be able to offer all the different foods but I contacted her anyway. She worked around a few things and made it just as good . As she spent years in the US it was easy to understand her. Her knowledge of the city's and country's history was offered in a way that was easy to follow. Would absolutely use her again
So easy to be with and great with the stories. We masterly walked thru the city hitting many highlights. The food choices were wonderful and the pace was perfect. Thank you
Every tour is unique and each itinerary will be adjusted to our agreed-upon starting point ( usually your hotel). The tour will be at your pace so we may not cover every site. We will see some of the city's major highlights such as Lindenhof, Grossmünster, Fraumünster, St. Peter's, the Niederdorf, and Paradeplatz. We will learn about Switzerland's special relationship with chocolate and visit several of the local shops such as Sprüngli, Lindt, Teuscher, Vanini, Laederach and St. Jakob's Bakery. We talk about Swiss Cheese, visit a local cheese shop, and sample a few of their offerings.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
This tour is most fun when it is a walking tour.
