Hello everyone, my name is Julia, and I would love to introduce you to the Switzerland I know and love. Switzerland for me is not just a travel destination — it is my everyday life. I live and work in the very heart of Zürich, surrounded by the rhythms, traditions, and quiet beauty of Swiss life, and create tailor-made journeys across Switzerland, offering private tours in Zürich, Lucerne, and Bern. My partner’s family comes from Bern and Zürich, and through these close local connections I have become deeply immersed in Swiss culture and community. My story began with music and theatre: I studied cello at a specialized music school and later graduated from the acting department of the Kyiv Theatre Institute, after which I worked in theatre. This background shaped the way I guide. I spent over ten years living and working in Venice. I started out in a travel agency, which gave me a deep understanding of how trips are organized, and later obtained my official guide license. I led tours in Venice and the Prosecco wine region, combining historical sites with fascinating stories. Now in Switzerland, I continue doing what I love and offer only the experiences that I genuinely enjoy myself. I’ll show you the beauty of Switzerland and its hidden gems. Let’s create your perfect journey together! I have all the requirements of the Swiss government to fulfil professionally my work. I am certificated travel guide of Venice and I have a guide license in the city of Chernihiv, Ukraine. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate professional car&driver. Please contact me even if I am unavailable! Switzerland with Julia.

"Zu Riech" - means too rich. "Züri" is the name given to one of the most expensive city in the world by its residents. But does Zurich really belong to the people who live there, or are the true owners located on Paradeplatz, the largest money market in Switzerland? During our walk you will learn: •The city until the 16th century belonged to women, but they received the right to vote only 50 years ago; • Here the reformers advised to go to the doctor, and not as a pilgrim to distant countries; • Alfred Escher lived here, the person who founded both Credit Suisse and ETHZ (where Einstein was a student) and cut a "window" to Italy by building 15 km long railway tunnel; • Wagner and Casanova visited; • Dadaism was created; • Carlo Scarpa, Chagall, Augusto Giacometti (painted "world's most beautiful police station") worked here; • Churchill called for the creation of a united Europe, which Switzerland never participated and England exit. Of course we will also learn about living local personages.
Great walking tour of Zurich. Very happy with Julia and her knowledge of the area!
Julia was delightful, fun, and super knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Zurich and highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn all about the city, it's history and have a delightful conversation along the way!
Julia made my trip to Zurich. She was very knowledgeable and was an incredible guide. She interspersed humor and facts. She had great recommendations and was highly communicative. Having her as your guide is worth the trip to Zurich. She also has vast knowledge and experience with most of the area and is capable of guiding far and wide.
We toured with Julia on a Sunday when all of Zurich shops were closed but she managed to make a walk through the old city interesting despite that fact. She was quick to respond to pre tour correspondence, arrived promptly for the tour and was a pleasure to spend a quiet Sunday morning strolling through Zurich with.
Wow, what can I say about Julia. She is amazing. Knowledgable, professional, great sense of humor. 6 of us spent 3 plus hours touring the wonderful city of Zurich. I highly recommend this terrific person for any tours you choose. Don
