Full Day Trip to Mount Pilatus & Luzern from Zurich

Let's embark on a day trip to Mount Pilatus from Zurich, driving in a Mercedes with comfortable leather seats and panoramic roof where you can feel like in your own Glacier express. But besides the Mercedes, you'll get to go on a cogwheel train ride to the top of the mountain and take a cable car back down! Be sure to follow my instructions to get on both! I'll be leading you on a guided tour atop the Mount Pilatus. Depending on the weather, we could walk on the mountain above the main platform where there is a souvenir shop and restaurant, as well as the so called "Dragon hole" which I'll show you. It used to be a Swiss army hidden lookout tower as a part of defence, now it is open to the public! You'll also get to experience traditional food at the Rathaus Brauerei restaurant on the bank of Lake Lucerne. For dessert, I'll suggest to choose Bachmann Chocolate World, which we'll pass by on our orientation walk through the eponymous town.

·After picking you up in Zurich, we'll go on a roughly 1 hour comfortable air-conditioned drive to base of Mount Pilatus. ·On arrival I'll help you boarding the cogwheel train which will take you atop the mountain to enjoy the views from the peak. I'll then drive a car around the mountain & use a cable car to meet you at the top! ·Once we're both atop the mountain, I'll lead you on a guided tour of the area & show you the "Dragon hole", ex Swiss army lookout tower. ·After exploring the surroundings & enjoying spectacular views of the Swiss Alps & lake Luzern, we'll go on the cable car down the mount together. ·Afterwards you can enjoy lunch in a local restaurant on the bank of the lake. ·For dessert, you'll have some time to get some Swiss chocolates in the Bachmann shop we'll pass by as I take you on an orientation walk through the town. ·We'll proceed to visit the famous Lion monument & of course Chapel Bridge which is a symbol of Luzern. ·At last, I'll drive you back to your place in Zurich.
