I also enjoy reading and spend a lot of time in the library studying ancient documents and works by historians. I'm married and have two adult sons. The famous Swiss village of Zermatt is surrounded by 4000-meter mountains. 2/3 of Switzerland’s 4000-meter peaks can be seen from here! Many consider this place one of the most beautiful on Earth - it is a must see!
Your Zurich tour itinerary
We have to start as early as possible since the train takes around 3 hours. Onboard, we start the day with a typical Swiss breakfast! I will bring some cheese and sausages from different regions, bread, and drinks. I will tell you all about everyday Swiss life and all the produce you are going to enjoy. The last hour we ride through beautiful landscapes, which is a part of the famous Glacier Express route. Once we arrive in Zermatt you need to decide which peak you’d like to visit (there are 3 options). We will catch a panoramic train or a cable car and take in the breathtaking view. Once back in Zermatt, we’ll stroll through the authentic old village and try some traditional food. Sitting in a comfortable train on the way back to Zurich we will share the beautiful pictures taken during this unforgettable day.
