Chocolate & Wine gourmet tour

This was our second time to have Evelyne take us on a tour of the area outside of Zurich. We wanted to see the Lauderach main chocolate factory again and were definitely delighted to taste what Evelyne says is the best chocolate in the world - and we wholeheartedly agree. On the rest of our tour we saw beautiful churches, tasted special pilgrim bread baked for centuries, visited very quaint villages, took pictures at some of the most spectacular vistas in the alps and we had a gourmet lunch with spectacular wines overlooking the vineyards where the grapes were grown to make the wine. Evelyne did all the driving with a very interesting commentary on the sites and significant places we were seeing. We cannot recommend Evelyne highly enough. Anytime we return to the Zurich area we will always want to have her show us around.

Evelyn was a very pleasant, fun and knowledgeable guide and an excellent driver! The tour was a great way to see the beautiful countryside and learn about how the Swiss people live in various parts of the country, and how their traditions vary by region. She filled the day with a great itinerary, a fantastic gourmet lunch in the wine country by the Rhine river, a chocolate factory tour ( tastings of course) , a medieval village, lovely wine country town and villages, a visit to Lichtenstein and more. Evelyn was a joy to be with and we highly recommend her!

Evelyne was an excellent, cheerful, knowledgeable guide. We were introduced to incredible vistas in the Alps at every turn. We learned of the history of the area & walked through an archaic Old Medieval Village. Delectable meals in quaint local restaurants dating hundreds of years old were enjoyed. The chocolate factory tour with way too many samples left me feeling a bit sluggish, but what a way to go! We had unexpected last-minute changes; she cheerfully & graciously made them. Can't wait to book again!

Evelyne gave us a wonderful day outside of Zurich exploring the countryside. We had an great visit at the Laderach factory enjoying the tour and our purchases. We drove into the mountains into small villages and had an extraordinary meal at a small local restaurant. Despite the rain, we walked and explored. We drove into Lichtenstein for a short visit and circled back to Zurich. She is articulate, interesting and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our day very much.

Evelyne deserves an even higher rating. She took us to the Laderach chocolate factory, which was the best in Switzerland. In the wine region, she chose a unique small restaurant, the Raetia, for lunch. It was the best meal we had in a long time. We journeyed through Lichenstein, Austria and back to Switzerland. In a medieval town, we walked down ancient streets. The ten hours flew by with the stops for chocolate, lunch and photos. Evelyne is experienced and a great guide!
