My hobbies: skiing in the winter, windsurfing and kitesurfing in summer. I really love music and dancing and so I often go to the opera, the ballet and various concerts. I've been doing Zumba for over 10 years and I've recently taken up kite surfing. It's exhausting, but it's a lot of fun! I also enjoy reading and spend a lot of time in the library studying ancient documents and works by historians. I'm married and have two adult sons. My best friend is my Maine coon cat, with whom I enjoying going for walks in the local wood. My job is my passion! I really enjoy welcoming tourists from all over the world. Zurich is often called the finance capital of the world. The head offices of the biggest and most respected banks in the world are located here. You will not find any luxury palaces here, instead there are numerous authentic old churches, cosy enchanting cobbled streets, houses from the 13th century… Zurich hasn't witnessed any wars for six centuries. The pace of life is slow. What's the point in rushing? The Swiss just don't get it… The city is extremely tidy and sophisticated, but unfortunately - very expensive! We will see Europe's largest clock on the tower of St. Peters, the famous stained glass windows by Chagall in the Fraumunster church, discover picturesque courtyards, cosy parks and old squares. We will walk along one of the most famous and expensive high streets in the world - Bahnhofstrasse and have a cup of hot chocolate in a historical café. You want to feel Swiss, don't you?
We had a fabulous time with Lidia on our walking tour. She was super friendly and made us feel instantly comfortable. We learned so much history and culture about the city that we would have missed otherwise. Highly recommend to anyone in Zurich for a few days to make the most of their visit!
Our walking tour of Zurich with Lidia was fantastic ! She is knowledgeable and fun and our family group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed walking around Zurich and learning about the city with her. She was amazing with our wheelchair rider as we navigated the cobblestone streets ! We highly recommend her and would definitively book her tour again if we return to Zurich .

Lidia was a great guide. Very knowledgeable of the city and its history. Adapted the tour to our needs and the weather which worked very well. Good advise for restaurants and cafes. Enjoyed the tour and we would book her again if we come back to Zurich to explore more of the city.
