I’m Sagri, and I am an enthusiastic official tour guide. I've been working full-time as a tour guide since 2014, and I hope to be able to guide for much longer. I was born in Toledo. I have a degree in Tourism and am licensed in Law, and a member of the Regional Association of Tourist Guides of Castilla La Mancha since 2012. My professional path has always been to work in Tourism. Working internationally in the hospitality industry, I have gained experience and made connections that have helped me to become a better local guide. I want to show you the fascinating history of Toledo, a World Heritage Site since 1986, its legends and its innumerable monuments, and to transmit the essence and the experiences that the coexistence of “The Three Cultures” has ingrained in each and every corner and has become my passion. I am certain that you, too, will be enchanted by this magnificent city. Being flexible is a big part of how I guide. If you feel like grabbing a coffee, trying some real marzipan, or just taking a break to enjoy the vibe of a quiet plaza stop, no problem—I’m happy to change plans as we go. My goal is for you to really experience Toledo, not just see it. Since I know the city inside and out, I can show you the hidden spots and give you a tour that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable.

Come to Toledo, “The Imperial City” (that’s how the city where I was born is known), and let me show you the history of La Medinat Al Yahud, known as “The City of the Jews.” Walking through the maze of its streets, we will reach the Upper Jewish Quarter, and later the Lower Jewish Quarter, where we will have the opportunity to visit two of the three medieval Sephardic synagogues that exist in Spain: Santa María la Blanca Synagogue (the Great Synagogue). Synagogue of El Tránsito (Samuel Levi). We will experience in a very special way what Jewish life was like in Toledo over eleven centuries, especially in the medieval period. In addition, in the Jewish Quarter, we will be able to admire El Greco’s masterpiece: The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, considered one of the most important paintings in the world, and of course, we won’t leave the Jewish Quarter without tasting our traditional sweet: marzipan. Are you ready to discover it?
I like to start with a panoramic tour of the city, for which we will take a taxi (approx. €23). After enjoying the wonderful views of Toledo, we will begin our walking tour through the Jewish Quarter, visiting: • Upper and Lower Jewish Quarters • Synagogues • Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes • Church of Santo Tomé
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
