Hola! Hi! Ciao! Marhaba! My name is Ana, and I welcome you to my beautiful city! I'm an official tour guide from Granada, born and raised, and would like to tell you a little more about me, so you could choose me as your next local guide. I have studied Art History at the University of Granada, and then I took a Master's in Production and Researching in History and Fine Arts, so I have all the knowledge to show you this astonishing place. During my last degree year, 2014, I earned a scholarship and I started working as a guide in a museum in the city center, there is where I learned most of my skills as a guide. Is also the time when I realized I would like to work as a tour guide, so I took up languages lessons to apply for the official accreditation. When I finished my Master's, I took a gap year, so I could travel a little around before starting a full-time job. I lived in Liguria, northern Italy, for a while, and also in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was a great experience, I learned a lot about other cultures, and made me improve my Italian and English. Then, I knew I was ready for the hard work. Meanwhile, I started my PhD, sometimes is tough working and studying at the same time, but I think of my thesis as my hobby, and is easier that way. My research concerning the Ph. D. is about Tattoo's History, I know is a little bit rare, but I am very proud of it because mine is the first one! Hopefully, in a couple of years, I will become Dr Ana C. I have also written several articles about Granada, the Alhambra, and the Christian period right after 1492, published in very important magazines. When I have some free time I like to read, a lot. I am also a collector of rare and old books, which is one of my great passions. I do like travelling, and I have been to many places. One of the greatest things about being a guide in monuments like the Alhambra is that you have the opportunity to talk and share experiences with people from all over the world, and for me is a great enrichment. My personality is calm and patient. I know how to manage difficult situations, and politeness is my main rule. But don't worry! I am not serious at all, you will see me always smiling. Do not hesitate in asking me any questions you may have, will be a pleasure to help and provide you with all the information you need. I am very flexible and we can create the perfect tour that suits you. I love what I do, that's the key to my happiness. Hope to see you very soon in Granada! - Degree in Art History, University of Granada (UGR), 2014 - Master in Production and Researching in Art , UGR - PhD student, in History and Arts -currently- UGR - Official Tour Guide, Junta de Andalucía, since 2016 - Mooc about the Alhambra, UGR, 2019 None

The perfect tour to visit the most important places in Granada. Once you have seen the Alhambra, is very important to approach the city center, and see how the locals live. Granada, the enchanted city, is alive between the dreams and the myths. It was the last Muslim hold conquered by the Christians in 1492, and its medieval essence is still present in the narrow streets, where you can smell the species and the jazzmin scent. All your senses will be involved in the magic of this old town, walking through history. We'll even taste it! At our own pace, no rush, we'll be able to understand the reasons why this city is so important, and then let's have some tapas in 2 local places, where I usually go with my friends and family. Tell me what you like, and I'll recommend the perfect place to go all together and taste one tapa in each place. "Granada, last refuge from a tiring life. Eternal garden shows remnants of paradise that remain, in only very few privileged places on earth". Chateaubriand
