DMZ (Border between South and North Korea) Tour

Spent four days in Seoul on our own, on the last day our flight was at 9 pm, so we wanted to have a private car and tour outside the city until we had to leave. Found Yoonsik ("Stefano") and wrote that we were interested in the DMZ and then left the rest to him to devise. Did not disappoint, after DMZ he drove us to Ganghwa Island; many sights including Dolmen Stones, fortresses and a beautiful temple complex. Great local lunch with loads of banchan. Dropped us at Incheon Airport at the end of the day. Stefano was bright, good conversationalist, knew a lot of history, very personable. Plus wonderful large touring car. High recommendation for Yoonsik H.

Mr. Hong (aka Stephano) was a great tour guide! We were able to see both the DMZ and Majong bridge in one day. He explained to us the rich history of the Korean peninsula, and he took us to a wonderful lunch. I'm still dreaming about the tofu hot pot.

Our family took this amazing tour of DMZ, It was an educational tour, We learn how the tunnel was between the North and South started. Our tour guide Yoonike was very prompt on picking us up and was very knowledge on how to get all the documentation prepared for us tour. You can not have a better tour guide than Yoonike. We had such a great tour to the DMZ with Stephano. Our family of 7 (3 kids, 4 adults including grandparents) were very comfortable in his private van. He has been a guide for over 30 years and is very knowledgeable about Korean history and current events which he shared with us throughout our trip. He was able to speak English and Korean to our group and switch back and forth easily to explain things to our grandparents who are mostly Korean speaking and the rest of us who are native English speakers. I would highly recommend him for a more personalized experience.

Stephano is an excellent tour guide! My visit to the DMZ was memorable and the countryside is beautiful. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. I learned so much about South Korea! I highly recommend this tour and Stephano.

Great guide. He was very kind and made sure we stayed on time. He was kind enough to add a detour for our tour and drop us off at another place that we requested for.
