Seoul Full Day City Tour

If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! We had an incredible day with Denny! We wish we hadn’t discovered him on our last day in Seoul. It makes us sad to leave. We wish we had a couple more days to spend exploring the city and surrounding areas with him. We allowed him to choose our itinerary, although at times, he gave us options and we chose what most interested us. His timing at the palace was perfect, because we got to see the changing of the guards. He was so knowledgeable and his English was very easy to understand. We saw many interesting sites, including part of the ancient city wall. We also visited a village with traditional houses. When we were ready for lunch, he asked us about the type of food we’d like, giving us several ideas. He took us to a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed dolsol bibimbap and soju. It was like combining a food tour with a city tour. He advised us on how to season our meal, and even stirred the dish for us and helped us get it seasoned to our liking. Afterwards, we walked around Insa-dong. It was a lovely stroll the an artsy neighborhood. Later, he took us to a beautiful stream that runs down the city center and then across the Han River to a beautiful park. I’m sure there are details I’ve missed, but rest assured, it was a full day of several major Seoul attractions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Denny as a guide to anyone visiting the area. My advice would be to take advantage of his tour early in your stay in Seoul.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent private tour of Seoul We had a wonderful day exploring Seoul with our guide. The tour was exceptionally well organized, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide's knowledge of Seoul's history, culture, and daily life was outstanding. He explained everything in a clear, engaging way and shared many interesting insights that we would never have discovered on our own. We especially appreciated seeing the city through a local perspective rather than just visiting the typical tourist attractions. The pace of the tour was perfect, and every part of the day was thoughtfully planned. We learned so much about Korea and Seoul while having a fantastic time. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul who wants a deeper understanding of the city, its history, and its culture. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

We had the best time with Denny! He was very flexible with our itinerary and very knowledgeable about each stop we made. He also gave us great food recommendations and made sure we took lots of pictures to remember our time in Seoul. Having a private ride was great. His van was very comfortable and he is an excellent driver. I highly recommend Denny as a guide.

This is a fascinating tour that provides a broad and insightful perspective of Seoul while making excellent use of time. Our guide, Kun-yong Y., expertly combined a visit to the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace with the impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony at Gwanghwamun Gate. It was a memorable and engaging experience. Other highlights included the beautiful Jogyesa Temple, the vibrant Namdaemun Market—where we enjoyed a delicious lunch—the traditional Bukchon Hanok Village, the historic Seoul City Wall, and Han River Park with its iconic Banpo Bridge. We covered an incredible amount of ground in just eight hours. It would have been difficult to experience so many of Seoul’s most important landmarks so efficiently without the guidance and expertise of our outstanding guide. This was a wonderful and highly rewarding experience that I would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Seoul.

We had a great day of touring with Denny. Unfortunately it rained ALL day, but Denny did his best to show us around. We had to do a few plan Bs due to the weather but it was still a great day. I liked that Denny touched base with me the day before the tour and the day of, to confirm. He also gave me guidance on other places we were considering to visit. He gave us a great first day overview of the city. We didn't know much about the history of Korea and Denny's tour and what we learned from him helped give us context for the rest of our visit.

Denny was a fantastic guide! He is so knowledgeable about Korean history and made our day super enjoyable! He is very kind and made sure we got the best out of our day! Would highly recommend!!!!!
