Hello everyone! I'm Denny Yu (Kun-yong), and showing foreign visitors my beautiful & dynamic country is my job, and I enjoy doing it! I am 57 years old and hold a tour guide license issued by the Korean government, which I acquired in 1999. I have been working as a tour conductor for over ten years and started my new career as a local English guide for foreign tourists in 2009. I love my guiding job, which has allowed me to meet friends from all over the world and to show you everything about Seoul and Korea. I can offer authentic private tours of Korea that you and your family will cherish for many years. I primarily offer exclusive, tailor-made tours tailored to your specific wishes. Based on what you want to experience while in Korea, mainly focusing on private trips and small groups, we aim to enhance the joy of travel. I can make your vacation here in Korea a memorable and enjoyable occasion. Just count on me to show you the real Korea in a more personal, guided holiday style. Through your own privately guided tour, you can travel freely without the restrictions of being part of a large group. Please don't hesitate to contact me at your convenience if you're seeking a local tour guide. It will be my great pleasure to show you around Korea. Thank you. Sincerely. Acquired a tour guide license issued by the Korean government in 1999. 10 year's experience as local tour guide in Seoul, Korea. I can handle all of your request except illegal act.

Korea is the only divided country in the world. After the Korean War (June 25 1950 - July 27 1953), South Korea and North Korea established a border that cut the Korean peninsula roughly in half. Stretching for 2km on either side of this border is the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). As one of the last relics of the Cold War, the DMZ attracts a great deal of public interest, and is a popular destination for travelers visiting Korea. (DMZ tour is not available on Mondays)
Everything was great. Our guide arrived in a car that was in excellent condition and clean. Everything was on time. He was very knowledgeable about Korea and answered all our questions. I recommend him.
We are very satisfied with this tour and Denny as our guide. He was attentive and adapted the program to our needs. Denny was helpful throughout and shared knowledgeable insights about the DMZ, Korea, and Korean history. We strongly recommend Denny as a guide.
My daughter and I enjoyed this tour. Kun-yong was very knowledgeable about the DMZ and we learned alot. We were also fortunate that the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and he made the extra effort to take us one of the best viewing areas. A very nice day!
We had a great tour. Unfortunately, it was hazy and did affect our ability to see. Kun-yong K. was helped us figure out where my Dad had been stationed during the Korean war. It was a meaningful experience for me and my daughter.
We had an excellent DMZ tour with our guide, Kun-yong. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history and current realities of North and South Korea in a clear, engaging way. The tour felt flexible rather than rushed, which made the experience much more enjoyable and personal. One of the highlights was sharing an authentic Korean lunch together at a local restaurant—something that really added cultural depth to the day. Kun-yong’s insights, professionalism, and warmth made this a memorable and meaningful experience. Highly recommended.
A fascinating tour of the DMZ. Our guide, Kun-Yong Y (Denny) was knowledgeable about the history of the DMZ, the war and what the future holds.
