Private Tour of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

Junwon was professional, knowledgeable, and service was first class. He communicated pick up time and location well in advance. Having a bilingual (Korean & English) private tour guide and comfortable minivan for my family of 3 from Georgia and 80 year old father-in-law was worth the price of the package. Junwon ensured we had a first class experience from guiding us through multiple locations around the DMZ area to reservations at a "farm to table" grilled duck bbq restaurant where the locals frequent - one of the best I've had! Overall, exceeded our expectations and highly recommend! We would book another tour with Junwon on our next visit to Korea.

Jun has been an exceptional guide. He brought us to multiple areas relating to the Demilitarization Zone (DMZ) and we and our kids learned sooo much about the history of the Korean War. He is very accommodating also with our elederly mom. We went on a cable car ride over the DMZ, to the observatory to see firsthand North Korean residents via binoculars, and knew a lot of shortcuts avoiding crowds. One of the highlights was a one of a kind traditional duck bbq lunch in a hidden spot (so so good!) with a recipe passed down from generations. His English is great and his van is very clean. We will definitely be recommending our family and friends to Jun when they visit Korea.

Great experience with Jun. we have been to the DMZ before, but he took us to different places that we have not been before for a different experience. Highly recommend.

My 35 year old daughter insisted we take a tour to the DMZ zone while in Seoul after a cruise from Japan. It was one of the highlights of our 3 week experience. Our guide, Junwoh , was prompt, pleasant and very informative. The kindness of the Korean people never ceases to amaze me! I was born after the Korean War and really didn’t know much about it. This tour was so educational. I had friends at home in USA who thought this could be a “dangerous tour”…nothing could be further from the truth. The memorial and park on a high peninsula was stunningly gorgeous . The solemness of the sight, the museum to honor the separation of the culture into two worlds and the views over to North Korea are something I will never forget. We totally recommend Junwoh as a great guide! Make sure you go to the Starbucks at the very top of the park! What views!

Jun provided a very pleasant tour of the DMV and surrounding area in South Korea. He eliminated areas that he knew would be very crowded and focused on places we wanted to visit. He also brought us to an excellent Korean BBQ restaurant that our group thoroughly enjoyed.
