Hello I am Imseong and you can call me Chris. Thank you for visiting my beautiful country. I used to teach Korean history and geography to teenagers. A few years ago, I had a chance to visit Australia and I got a lot of questions about Korea from people in various countries. I wanted to let them know not just an abstract saying of my country being beautiful but also its rich history. That is why I decided to become a tour guide, and studied to get the license. Since then, it has been over 9 years of working as a tour guide. So far I have met hundreds of people from various nationalities. I found out that I like meeting new people and having a conversation with them, sharing the experience of our daily life, history and abundant traditional culture as well. Overview of your Seoul tour
I highly recommend this must-visit places if it is your first time in Korea. You can view and experience the traditional side of Seoul. Jogyesa Temple is the headquarter of Jogye Sect. In Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main palace of Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910) you can stroll around wearing Hanbok, Korea's traditional clothes and we can understand the transformations of the nation since the Korean war, the center of the democratic movement and traditional lifestyle as well. We will learn more at the site we visit. We also can enjoy typical Korean food and shop at Insadong where you can buy various souvenirs.

Chris was an amazing guide. She showed us all the highlights of Seoul that we had asked to see. Her knowledge of the history and culture were very good and she was able to answer all of our questions. This is an amazing tour for people who have never been to Korea. Chris was SO informative and made my mother and I extremely comfortable. She knew when my mom had to sit and when I can go take the stairs to see something. She knew the good food spots, where all restrooms were etc. we loved her so much we booked her for another day.

Chris planned an excellent full day tour of the highlights of Seoul. She is a former history teacher and has a wealth of knowledge that she shared. Her English was flawless and she was easy to understand. She met us promptly at our hotel and we walked to all of the sites. The itinerary included the main palace with the changing of the guard, folk museum, Bukchon hanok village, main Buddhist temple, and walk along historic stream path. We stopped for a delicious meal and had a coffee stop. The itinerary was full but we felt like it was a great introduction to Seoul.
