Seoul has been the capital of the dynasties [Baekje(BC18-475), Joseon(1392-1919 or 1945)] and the Republic of Korea(1945-present). It has been called as "Hanseong", "Hanyang", "Seoul" as time goes by. Seoul is such a dynamic city with the contrast and harmony of old and new. I will show you all beautiful highlights of Seoul with Kevin’s rich story telling matured from the Tourism University of Gyeonggi where I got Bachelor’s degree. I will explain how this small country became wonderful, safe and peaceful since thousands years ago, how the philosophy is consistent for thousands years. Let's kick it off with Kevin. (1) I will pick you up at your hotel in Seoul. (2) Visit the greatest palace of Joseon dynasty(from 14th century). - Changing Guard Ceremony except Tuesdays - Show you around in the palace - We will have wonderful photo experience (2.1) National Folk Museum to understand Koeans' life cycle. (3) Jogyesa Buddhist temple which is the headquarter of Jogye Order. (4) Insa-dong culture street souvenir, pottery, traditional papers, seal, lunch, etc. (5) Bukchon Hanok village where Korean traditional houses are conserved. (6) Namdaemun market where locals as well as tourists go for window shopping. (7) Han river, Banpo bridge, Seom Sevit(floating island) for fresh air after city area and the evidence of "successful ecomonic development after Korean war". or (7.1) Namsan park drive through or 15 minutes hike for panoramic view of Seoul. (8) Say 'See you again' at your Hotel or any place you want. * Changdeok palace on Tuesdays instead of Gyeongbok palace and Folk Museum. :)
