We'll meet at your hotel and visit all the great sights of country-side Korea is a peninsula. Why don't you enjoy beautiful island. Do you want to see true Korea? I think island is a short cut to see and feel local Korea(Insights Korea). Ganghwa-do island has long history of Korea with heritages listed in UNESCO. It has legend of the origin of Gojoseon which is root of Korea. Daebudo island has beautiful beach-side trail. It is also famous for grape. Island grape has special taste of saltier sweet - little bit. This island is famous for shrimp, also. Roasted shrimp on the salt is specialty in the autumn. A sunset is very beautiful in the west coast. Say goodbye to sun and prepare for tomorrow. ♡ Other islands also possible: eg. Kevin conducted the most wonderful tour of "real Korea" and showed me places where tourists seldom go. This was a rich and valuable experience. Kevin is kind, caring and so very knowledgable. Every moment of the day was filled with stories of the history of Korea and beautiful sites especially since the cherry blossoms were in bloom. He is a wonderful guide and went above and beyond to make my tour all that I hoped it would be.
Kevin was a wonderful guide for us for five days in Korea (Seoul/DMZ, Ganghwa Island, Gyeongju, Busan - and he brought and drove us to the airport) . He is a remarkably kind man with a good sense of humor who truly went out his way to make us comfortable and making sure we got the most out of out trip. He speaks good English and is particularly knowledgeable on Korean history and Buddhism and we learned a lot about the three Korean dynasties all the way from the unification in 676 to the Korean War.
Thanks for the thorough planning and flexibility with the itinerary, we really maximised our time in Seoul. It's been a wonderful vacation for all of us!

Destination : Ganghwa-do island (1) I will pick you up from your hotel. (2) Drive for and 1. 5 hours to Dondae(Ancient Military Observatory and small Fortress) in Ganghwado Drive about 30 minutes and visit the Jeondeungsa Temple with beautiful and sad legend of woman and carpenter. Drive about 30 minutes and visit Dolmen (World Cultural Heritage) (3) Drive and visit traditional market shortly to understand native Koreans. (4) Drive for 1. 5 hour ~ 2 hours back to your hotel. [Customizable Options] * Seonjaedo island (K-water tower, "tidal-magic-walk" winery, etc. instead of Ganghwado island. * Alternative destination if you have children: Ganghwa Luge (Ganghwa seaside resort), Fancy cafe reformed from textile factory, traditional house, etc. Please request customized tour in advance. :)
