My name is Javier Nuñez, I was born in Panama. I am a tour guide in my country with 15 years of experience. Our small country has a very important geographical position, as it connects two oceans over a distance of 50 km, which passes through the artificial Gatun Lake. During your stopover in Panama, you will have the opportunity to visit the Panama Canal, learn about its history and engineering, and watch a 45-minute video that tells our story from the 1500s to the present day. We will visit the old town, where we will walk and discover its history. Then, we will take a tour of the modern city. We will visit the Amador Causeway, which consisted of three islands connected using rocks from the construction of the Panama Canal. If you would like to have lunch and enjoy our cuisine, I will gladly take you there. Once we're done, we will return to the airport so you can continue your trip. Let me show you the beautiful places in my country.

- Pickup from your hotel or Tocumen International Airport. - Visit to the Miraflores Locks Canal. You will observe ships passing through the locks. - You will have the opportunity to watch a 45-minute film that will explain our history and evolution from the 1500s to the present day. - We will take a tour of the modern city so you can observe and take photos of our buildings. - Visit to the Amador Causeway, which was connected to the mainland using rocks from the construction of the Panama Canal. - We will visit the Old Town of the city where we can walk, see historical sites, observe its architecture, and purchase handicrafts. - Lunch (optional). You can enjoy our traditional Panamanian cuisine during the tour. - Finally, I will drop you off at your hotel, a shopping center in Panama City, or at Tocumen International Airport.
