Hi, I'm Gia! Puerto Vallarta has been my family’s home for generations, which means I didn’t discover this city. I inherited it. I grew up hearing the stories behind ordinary places, learning which streets held secrets, and understanding Vallarta as something far deeper than what appears on the surface. At the same time, I spent much of my childhood in Ottawa, Canada, living in a completely different world. Moving between the two gave me a rare perspective. I know Vallarta intimately, but I also understand the thrill of discovering it for the first time. That balance shapes every private experience I design. For the past few years, I started my own tour company because I wanted to share the Vallarta I actually know. Not just beaches and margaritas, but the unique rythms, hidden corners, and local stories that make this city feel alive. Since then, I’ve spent countless days exploring with travelers who arrived as strangers and left feeling like they had unlocked a secret version of the city. I enjoy art, philosophy, and music, and I appreciate the beauty in the vibrant, the mundane, and the details most people miss. Vallarta rewards curiosity. The more you pay attention, the more it reveals. Between the food, art, landscapes, and people, Vallarta has so much to offer, and I want every guest to walk away feeling they’ve seen the city for all of its beautiful nuances. Travel is deeply transformative, and I would love to be that link to help you create memories that will last long after our tour is over!

Puerto Vallarta’s food scene goes far beyond what most visitors ever see. This private experience takes you into the everyday places locals actually eat, where recipes have been passed down through families and the flavors tell the story of the city itself. You will explore Vallarta through its food, tasting fresh seafood, traditional dishes, street tacos and local drinks while learning how the city’s history, culture and coastal life shaped what ends up on the plate. Each stop connects you to the people behind the food and the traditions they keep alive. Come curious and come hungry!!
Start at a local food market, where you will see how Vallartans actually shop and eat, and learn why these markets play such an important role in daily life and community culture. From there, we head into the downtown core, stopping along the way at a mix of hidden local favorites for seafood, tacos and drinks that most visitors never find on their own. As we reach the Malecón, I will share the history of Vallarta through its lesser known landmarks, uncovering stories that even many locals have never heard. Then we keep eating. Moving beyond the main downtown area, we continue into the Zona Romántica for even more food stops and flavours to close out the experience.
