Hello everyone! My name is Cervando, and I'm a tour guide here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I'd like to invite you to visit our beautiful city and discover some amazing places in the surrounding area. Here's a little about me: I was born and raised in this beautiful city. I studied Tourism in high school, and since I was very young. I've enjoyed serving tourists in many different ways. Throughout my career, I've work in several areas of the tourism industry including restaurants, hotels, airlines and tour operators from the United States and Canada. I also worked as a Customer Service Representative for Sunquest Vacations. I begun my guiding career leading large groups for several tour operators and cruise lines such as First Choice, Signature Vacations, Virtuoso, Carnival, Disney, Celebrity cruises. Today, I'm proud and happy to be a guide with ToursByLocals. One of the things I enjoy most, is sharing the beauty of my country with visitors. I have a true passion for Mexico- its history, culture, traditions, and people. I love nature, spending time with my family, and meeting people from al over the world. As someone born and raised here, I'll take you beyond the typical tourist attractions and introduce you to the Puerto Vallarta I know and love. During our private tour, you'll discover the city's most iconic landmarks while also exploring charming neighborhoods and places many visitors never find on their own. We'll stroll the famous Malecón, admire the beautiful Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, wander through the vibrant Romantic Zone and visit the historic Gringo Gulch, where Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton lived. We'll also enjoy a scenic drive along the southern coastline to Mismaloya, where the movie The Night of the Iguana was filmed. If you'd like, we can also stop for lunch at one of my favorite local restaurants , where you'll have the opportunity to experience authentic regional cuisine.
Once again, Cervando outdid himself! We have toured Puerto Vallarta and its outskirts with Cervando 3+ times and were again surprised at the new and interesting sites Cervando showed us. His knowledge of the many cities, beaches and architecture around PV is extensive as is his history of Mexico. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him and will book again!! Thank you, Cervando!

Cervando was very communicative and tailored the tour to our needs. He moved the start time 30 minutes at my request with a message the night before. He provided a deep knowledge of PV since he grew up there. We felt we knew the area and people much better after our tour which we did on day 1 of our visit. Delicious lunch at a place far out of the city as well. Good careful driver.

We had a terrific time with Cervando. Show us many great sights. Gave us lots of history and insights into beautiful Puerto Vallarta. He was very patient with us Sr ladies. And one was in a scooter. I highly recommend him as a guide.
