It couldn’t have been any better.. Manny was a gentleman and is full of information of the local scene. We did not want the cookie cutter variety tour that you can do yourself, and off the beaten path and into the local community is what we wanted and he nailed it. Great tour, great man and one for the memory book. He is a must meet and book guy.

Manny is a top-notch guide in and around the city of Puerto Vallarta. It seemed as though he knew everybody! We saw much of the area that only locals know and we were introduced to places that tourists would never see let alone experience. His talk on the history of PV was informative and facinating. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

If you are lucky enough to score a tour with Manny Hernandez . . . You are lucky enough! Seriously, he was a font of information on the history, the culture, the cuisine of PV. One of the main reasons we travel, is to get to know the true local environment. We got that in spades, all served with his kindness and delightful sense of humor. He treated us to a chocolate tasting, a tequila tasting, and found us a local restaurant with the freshest seafood for lunch. We would never have discovered it without him. (But he wouldn’t allow us to buy his lunch!). The timing of our cruise was so close to the Day of the Dead celebration, and he gave us a lesson on its true meaning. If you are thinking of booking with Manny, you had better hurry up and do it, or you will miss out on a fabulous experience, because he will already be booked!

Our tour with Manny was beyond great. There is no comparison with the shore excursions offered by the cruise line. It was just the four of us with Manny and his driver, instead of a bus load of tourists, with some guy with a microphone. We went way off the beaten path, and were able to see and hear about the real Mexico. Manny is very intelligent, articulate, fun, and very proud of his heritage. We talked about how amazing our experience was for the rest of the cruise. Our only regret is we can only give him 5 stars. We highly recommend Manny and hope to some day visit again
