Hidden Gem's Food & Culture Tour

We had such a great time with Manny - he was absolutely delightful, spoke fluent English (including incredible knowledge of unexpected idioms), and taught us so much about Mexican culture and the history of Puerto Vallarta. We ate some delicious food and visited some fascinating sites along the way that we would never have found or even considered on our own. I was disappointed that the "churro guy" was gone on the day of our visit, but we just rolled with it. He did a great job of getting to know each of us as well as sharing some of his own personal history. This tour was a lot of fun with some yummy local food.

Manny took us to the major tourist attractions. What made the tour even better was the tour of the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta. We highly recommend Manny as a guide in Vallarta.

Just Wonderful! Manuel was a great guide, he was easy to talk to, took us to so many wonderful Taco places, showed us "his Puerto Vallarta", the markets and candy store were my favorite, it brought back so much nostalgia. Transportation was comfortable, airconditioned( the heat was so bad, so was really glad for that). I would definitely be booking Manuel again in the near future.

It’s proof that life is good. Really, I can’t rave enough about this personalized food tour of Vallarta with Manuel “Manny” who was friendly, knowledgeable, and open to any questions about Mexico, cultural, life, politics, etc. Book him! I highly recommend Manuel H. as a tour guide. He grew up in the area so was very knowledgeable about the history and current happenings. It was obvious he spent a lot of time vetting the restaurant we went to for our food tasting. I believe we went to eight different places. They were all local places away from the tourist area. The food was excellent. Manuel was very pleasant, easy to talk to and lots of fun. We were very comfortable sharing about our family and he shared his family with us.
