My name is Laura and I am Italian. I live in Verona, the city of love narrated by Shakespeare in his famous tragedy. After acquiring a degree in Foreign Languages for Tourism, I started to work in the tourism field as receptionist in a hotel and I especially dealt with tourists and their overseas necessities at the front desk. For this reason, I decided to become a tour leader. In fact, as tour leader, I introduce tourists experience either tours or visits in my territory, and in my opinion, this is the best way to discover new places. Above all, I do tours in the city centre, from simple walking tours, food & drink tours, to urban trekking on the surroundings of Verona. But I also offer tours in the adjacent areas, such as the Valpolicella, as well as on Lake Garda and the beautiful East landside of Verona. My motto is "Live Verona and its province as a local". 2010 Tour Leader certification for English and Spanish. Provincia di Verona Able to organize and lead individuals or groups of tourists for leasure or business. 2009 Superior Degree in Language for Tourism Promotion and Event Organization, with score 106/110 Foreign Language and Culture Knowledge (English, German, Spanish and French) Tourism and Tourists' Problems Administration; Organization and Promotion of Events. University of Verona, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature. 2007 Degree in Language and Culture for Tourism Management with score 106/110 University of Verona, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature. I am not a licensed historical and architectural guide, so inside of churches and monuments I could just accompany you, not guide in them. Sometimes I prefer not to drive and accompany you in your vehicle, or to arrange for a separate car and driver.

On this tour, the beginning will be the sweetest. In the stunning Piazza Brà, we'll visit one of the ancient Veronese pastry shops, to taste a typical risino with a coffee. Prepare to explore the two thousand years of history of Verona, the city of lovers. However, this walk will not follow the classic routes, but you will be guided by a local veronese expert. From Castelvecchio, we'll marvel at the beautiful Scaligero bridge and then enter the ancient city from Porta Borsari, skirting the romantic riverside. Besides this, we'll also see Ponte Pietra, the first bridge in Verona built in the 1st century AD, and we will begin to savor the medieval part of the city, walking along Via Sottoriva and a couple of squares: Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Erbe. Juliet's house and its balcony will be our last stop before a rich tasting in a typical Veronese tavern. In the local Hosteria, we will savor the typical traditional atmosphere not only in the food and wines, but also in its environment. Not to be missed.
-We'll start our tour from Brà Square for a cappuccino and risino in a local and ancient Veronese pastry. -Next, we'll go to the Castelvecchio and the medioeval bridge. -Afterwards, we'll walk til Porta Borsari. -We'll then walk through the riverbank side till the Bishop's district. -Next, we'll admire Castel San Pietro and the Roman Bridge. -We'll continue to the medieval area of the city with Via Sottoriva, the Scaligeri's Tumbs, Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Erbe. -We'll then walk to the famous Juliet's house and its balcony. -Finally, we'll stop for a rich tasting in a local restaurant. -After this point you could either walk together with me back to the meeting point in Brà Square or freely go where else you desire. I'm always happy to give suggestions! This itinerary could be customized to best meet your preferences.
