My full-day Valpolicella wine tour offers an exploration of the famous Amarone hills with a local guide, driver, lunch, and winery visits. While on the road, sit back, relax, and admire the rolling vineyard landscape. Just a 20-minute drive from Verona, the Valpolicella wine region is one of the most famous and appreciated wine producing regions in Italy, renowned not only for Amarone wine but also Ripasso and sweet Recioto, the father of the Amarone wine! During the day get an inside look at all the steps of the winemaking process, from fermentation to bottling. Complete the experience with a unique tasting of different vintages of Amarone. Bonus, one of our producers offers a delectable extra virgin olive oil tasting. Between vineyard and winery visits, enjoy a delicious, traditional lunch - of course, always paired with Valpolicella wine! The afternoon winery visit offers a walk through the vineyards where you learn about different indigenous grape varieties of the Valpolicella wine region.

Absolutely wonderful day with Sara. We visited 3 outstanding wineries, were given tours and so much information on the wines, grapes and processes. Lunch at one of the wineries was perfect as well. Sara is truly a professional, knowledgeable and passionate about wine. She tailored the day to our needs, she goes above and beyond giving us information on Verona and other tourist activities. She was quick to respond to questions prior to and since the tour. Highly recommend!
