You'll be able to truly take in the atmosphere of historic neighborhoods, such as Sottoriva and the Bishop areas. We'll go from one of the largest amphitheaters in Italy, the Arena, to the balcony that inspired Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Here, I'll tell you about the reality and fiction of this iconic place of the city of love. We'll visit Piazza Erbe, too, which is the core of the ancient city, with the majestic Lamberti Tower. Furthermore, we'll walk through the medieval and romantic part of Verona, passing by Cortile Mercato Vecchio Square and Piazza dei Signori Square with Dante Alighieri's statue, the father of the Italian language and author of Divina Commedia. We'll also visit a couple of little stops in front of Arche Scaligere, a gothic funeral monument of the medieval Lords of Verona, and at Romeo's House, which will surprise you.
