Roman Archaeology is my background and I am listed in the prestigious Rick Steves Italy guidebook. I'm excited about helping you understand a little more of my beloved city: its art, history, landscape and the mood of the Italian "provincia". I am happy to tailor unique experiences for my travelers: if you are happy, I am happy! For me being a tour guide is a way of travelling every day without moving from home! I get emotional when I taste classy wines and I am a Level 1 sommelier. As both a Certified tour guide and a Level 1 Sommelier, I can offer you my expertise to make your day memorable! In the morning I take you on a brief city tour with me to see Verona's unmissable sites and get the sense of my town. At lunch time we go together to the Valpolicella, the Amarone wine area, where I have selected a couple of good wineries for you: a medium size one, with a good selection of honest wines and a premium cellar with outstanding bottles. You will get to know different Amarone styles and wine philosophies, while making new friends!
